one frozen strawberry.

Add tap water.
Stir for another minute.
Filter mixture
through cheesecloth.
Wait 2 minutes
while the filtrate drips into the glass tube.
Pour a layer of ice cold ethanol over the strawberry extract.

Spool rope-like strands of DNA onto a wooden splint.
Or skip the filtering step and collect large clumps of DNA from the same amount of strawberry.
