chromatogram.jpg (12007 bytes) Students produced chromatograms using pigment which they applied to chromatography paper by rolling a coin over a fresh spinach leaf.  These chromatograms show chlorophyll b at the bottom, followed by chlorophyll a, xanthophylls, and carotenes.

All the protist photos were taken using a Sony Mavica and shooting
directly through the microscope with no additional attachments. 
The camera was set to the widest angle, flash off, and focus closeup.
